Book Review of "Understanding Genesis 1-11: From Adam to Abraham" by Andrew C.S. Koh

Another Book review #2024 #goodreads #Biblical # transformational #self-help #spiritual#bookworm #bookreview Review: A s the preface claims, Adam-Abraham (Genesis 1-11) is indeed a systematic journey. Koh's tendency to provide the meanings to certain (Biblical) words adds potential to the insights. The words "Bereshi", "Elohim", "Nimrod", "Babel" and "Yahweh" must be mentioned in that context. Koh keeps reminding us that we will witness of first(s) in Genesis 1-11. It is fun to remember those stories and lessons which we have already forgotten. The first man and his blame game, the first murder and jealousy, the first marriage and consequence as well as the first sin are reflected with adequate details. I love the way "gap theory" indicates the conflict between religion and science around "evolution". The significance of the"holy-day" or the 7th day, the curse on women (labor pain), the history of gen...
Companies often reject our samples but make us invest our time without paying for our time.  Such an unfortunate trend in the content-developing domain, right? Isn't it high time we #content developers raise our voices for these unpaid, time-wasting events of our lives? Below is a sample Instagram reel a company asked me to make but rejected stating " We are planning something different."  However, they have not described the "difference". The video is made in Canva using  sound of "Feel Good by MusicbyAden | https://soundcloud.com/musicbyaden Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ " Creative Commons CC BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0 / " So, what do you think? Would you reject it too?

E-learning Trends and Their Association with Short Courses

2023 just finished an exciting time with # E-learning .  We witnessed  40% of Fortune 500 Companies use # E-learning  98% of USA firms plan #E-learning  The HR departments from the corporate world joyfully announced that E-learning can decrease energy consumption by 90% and it is 40-60% more time-efficient than traditional learning.  Then, the profit-makers noticed that #E-learning could have a $325 billion worth market by 2025 .  Contextually, there was a #Digi-talverse prophecy that the E-learning market would grow 200% between 2020 and 2025.  The current trend post-Covid is making that prophecy quite convincing. Learning and Earning: The Associative Traits Most #E-learners learn from video, audio, or training clips. That feature of #E-learning makes anyone a learner.   ●        Are you struggling between jobs?   ●        Your counselor asked you to take short breaks...

A sample on Ram Mandir construction that a company rejected stating AI content

company Ironically, the content is scored "100% human" by an AI-detector tool. So, friends, please go through it and let me know whether it sounds inhuman or superhuman. #Ayodhya #Ram mandir #Indian Religion #Indian Culture # architecture Ram Mandir at Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya: An Architectural Masterpiece Susan. J. Lewandowski, a famous scholar, once stated that “All things are one, everything is connected” on the core principle of any Hindu temple. Those symmetry-driven, geometrical shapes in Hindu temples often confirm the same. Ram Mandir’s chief architect Chandrakant Sompura might have had similar thoughts when he first visited the temple site more than 30 years ago. That day, Ashok Singhal, the late chief of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad was with him. Sompura recollected with CNBC that he measured the site area with footsteps as a disguised devotee. The original plan for this 161ft “Nagara style” temple included two domes, multiple pillars, and turrets. However, Sompura ...

A book review that analyses Genesis 26-36 Jacob's life journey is described in this book from both Genesis and the writer's reflective viewpoints. We all know that Jacob is one of those famous fathers and Israel was named after him. The theological perspective describes him as a believer in god's promises as well as in his mortal dilemmas. Koh's reflections explain the symbolic meanings of the verses with standard interpretations of those verses. However, those reflections would be more colorful if Koh could add some of his insights. For example, Issac dug three wells with the names Esek, Sitnah, and Rehoboth respectively. Those names have significance and Koh may describe the significance from his point of view.  Contextually, Rehoboth means "wide streets" in Hebrew and the Philistines did not claim it. Was nonclaimant connected to the namely significance of the well? A discussion on the same with geographical significance could be exciting. Moreover, Gal...

A Demo #Research paper on #Dyslexia that was #Rejected

Image
Ok, so I wrote this paper for an educational agency for the writer's post and they rejected it. They stated, "it was not standard". Well, I am just curious, and wanna see the view count. So, I upload this paper to my blog. Comments and likes will be appreciated.   Note : they just gave the topic "Dyslexia" but there were no limitations about research questions. As an explorer, I can try any research question, right? Let's see.  Introduction      Although Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty, the key challenge most patients face is underrepresentation ( MacCullagh et al., 2017 ). The nationwide European-funded project Dyslexia Compass has confirmed this issue with shocking statistics. That project observed the European Dyslexia Association’s estimation of 5-12% Dyselexic Europeans. Notably, that covers a difference of 52 million which seems more than the total population of Kenya ( BirimiĊĦa et al., 2021 ). This pattern of significant estimation differ...

Chomsky's Theory and Language Acquisition

Linguistic theories are quite amazing. Just like behavioral theories (sociology), they show the use of language can be parallelly independent and dependent on grammar. Contextually, Chomsky is more focused on innateness while describing his concept of language acquisition. It seems quite different from Skinner's theory where Skinner observes that imitation is the key mechanism for language acquisition. For instance, immigrant children with English second language often make pronunciation mistakes. But an ideal teacher can improve that with rewards and recognition. That means the Behaviourist theory Skinner confirms that habit-forming mechanism can modify the language acquisition model.      In the environment of language learning, language use and acquisition are not the same. The use of language somehow shows a connection between formal teaching and conscious learning while acquisition is a spontaneous process. While watching Netflix f...
